Live and learn in Europe with Brown Experiential Education (BEE) programs.

The best way to learn something new is to immerse yourself both mentally and physically. Brown Experiential Education (BEE) programs offer academically motivated high school students the opportunity to do just that and so much more! You’ll explore culture and history while engaged in rigorous academic experiences in program locations carefully selected to enhance course content.

Learning is rich and experiential as you physically link your studies with your surroundings. The programs’ interdisciplinary approach will help prepare you for the increasingly complex challenges of the 21st century: you’ll discover the interconnectedness of the global community by exploring new places and considering varied perspectives

Barcelona

Students will immerse themselves in the Spanish language and culture by learning about Barcelona through 10 iconic buildings, neighborhood walks, a cooking class and visiting local markets.

Oxford

Students will study and live at Oxford University. Site visits will include Bodleian Library, Christ Church and London, as well as punting on the River Cherwell and experiencing a high table dinner.

Paris

Students will immerse themselves in Parisian life and culture as they explore the City of Light. Students will visit iconic sites such as the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral.

Students will dive into Italian language and culture. Rome will be the classroom as students will visit sites daily, including the Colosseum Palatine Hill and St. Peter’s Basilica.
